I HIT A GOGOPLATA GOING LIVE TONIGHT
littlefists:
Could it be that my ground game is actually improving?! Only took seven months of me sucking. I mean I still suck horribly at grappling. but still. I HIT A GOGOPLATA.
And (far more importantly) last week the new boxing coach told me I’m a beast. There may be hope for a fight this summer yet.
AND! Desmond is back on Lost!!! dammit I’m just all sorts of excited over here.

Fistic Medicine: Alves and ‘Brain Irregularity’ →
Matt Pitt strikes again with an excellent breakdown of Thiago Alves’s brain situation:
If there is a more disturbing word to append to the noun “brain” than “irregularity,” I don’t know it. The preliminary information regarding Thiago Alves’ failure of his pre-fight CAT scan was worrisome; the additional information indicating that the abnormal finding involved an artery in the brain was...

Fuck. Yes.
Excellent replacement, and apparently Saunders asked for it. He has everything to gain in this, but he’s got a TOUGH fight ahead of him.

The Scary Clown: Remembering Jorge Paez - Bad Left... →
Paez was a professional circus clown. A native of Mexicali, Jorge spent a good part his youth working in his grandmother’s show, learning how to do the sorts of tumbles, goony dancing and acrobatic backflips that he’d showcase after every victory. According to him he never fully left the circus, and would return to clowning for short stretches in between fights. It wasn’t hard...
