(via fuckyeahginacarano) A buddy of mine and I were talking about the Carano/Cyborg fight.  He contended there was no other way the fight could have gone.  I disagreed, and this picture illustrates why. Carano uses her lead leg foot jab to control distance extremely well, a crucial tool against someone as powerful and frenetic as Chris Cyborg.  Carano could have played matador that evening, controlling distance, sticking and moving, making Cyborg work for shots, making her miss, and eventually grinding out a decision. But, well, we know how that fight went.
