Sakuraba is starting to get up there with Randy Couture in the list of Badass old men.

This fight highlights a beautiful clash of styles. Sakuraba takes a hell of a beating in an attempt to get the submission. Galesic smashes Sakuraba’s face with everything he has to save his leg.

Heart.  This is Saulo Ribeiro, not just looking for a knee bar against the giant (comparatively) Jeff Monson, but searching his soul to see how much fight he had left in him.  He got neither the knee bar, nor the win.  After the match, he announced his retirement from competition.
